A Lincoln woman who was found with various marijuana products following a traffic stop accepted a plea agreement Dec. 18 in Washington County District Court.
Lindsey A. Morris, 36, pleaded guilty to the amended charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance, a Class 1 midemeanor.
Judge John E. Samson ordered a presentence investigation. Sentencing is set for Feb. 19.
Morris was arrested June 24. According to an arrest affidavit, a sheriff's deputy stopped a black Chevrolet Suburban that failed to use its turn signal as it turned from County Road 51 to County Road P51.
The driver, identified as Morris, was found to have a suspended license. The passenger didn't have a license.
When deputies searched the vehicle, they found a bag of marijuana, a marijuana pipe, CBD oil, honey wax, a methamphetamine pipe and meth.
Morris admitted the marijuana products belonged to her, but denied ownership of the meth. She claimed the passenger put it in her purse.
